Cathy Gallagher Mayor of Telscombe On 20th May Cllr. Cathy Gallagher was elected as the new Mayor of Telscombe. Cathy will be talking about her decision to become a Councillor and her desire to preserve the public facilities especially green spaces for all. Cathy is fiercely driven to have a Community Hall in Peacehaven, Telscombe, and Saltdean. The theme of 20 minute neighbourhoods Local Shops and services, and the importance of the Chamber of Commerce providing trusted traders. Councillors need to speak up for the Community and lobby for grants. Being Mayor gives Cathy the chance to support the young, and she wants to encourage culture, music and art, in particular. Cathy's favourite music is Irish Traditional, especially the bagpipes and tin whistles. Come and join us to learn more about this diligent & conscientious woman who is passionate about the community she serves and the towns she represents.
